About This Game The stronghold of an ancient civilization has been invaded by hordes of alien raiders. Use powerful technologies of the Ancient and repel the attack of the enemy's armies! Features: - Classic Tower Defense (TD) for those who are fond of good old games; - Building towers in any free area on the field; - 40 unique levels; - Plenty of diverse enemies with their own features; - The game offers upgrading towers, as well as everything else. New improvements allow selecting exceptional strategies for each level. Even the base can be upgraded! - Improvements can be reset and distributed at will, it is free and you get all your emeralds back; - The storyline is based on recollections of the veterans of intergalactic wars; - Our artist visited the ancient planet himself in order to recreate its image in the game; - Character voices sound identical to real ones; - The game was developed upon the order of the High Council of the Intelligent Civilizations of the Galaxy; - There should have been one more feature here, but it failed censorship, so we replaced it with an advert: “Galactic energy drink “Improviser” with a rocket fuel extract will reduce fatigue and shorten your life by a couple of years. “Improviser” – for a vibrant and fast life!” We love strategies, we did our best to create the game, and it turned out quite decent. That said, this is actually an enjoyable little game, if you don't mind that you will have to grind for gems to upgrade weapons, towers and your base, and want a TD game that isn't Medieval in setting. The more futuristic alien planet vibe is nice, Very nice art (quite pretty, actually), and good sounds that fit the weapons and invaders well. In particular the "oof oof oof" sounds as they are hit by weapons fire, and the sound they make as they die is amusing. The story, if you call it that, is a bit shallow, and the bits between rounds do seem to flash by quickly at times, but if they lasted any longer you might get tired of looking at them as the game loads the next scenario. Not a game I will ever put 10 hours/day into, but good fun for short sessions, and a breather from other games i play. The difficulty progression seems fair for now, but I am not terribly far into the game, so it may ramp up quite a bit later and catch me off-guard. We'll see. Being able to replay scenarios to grind for gems for upgrades is nice, you can pick a favorite map and replay it as much as you like, to get those gems. I'd say at the beginning it feels a bit more "casual" than many other TD games I have played, we'll see if it stays "casual" as i progress to the final maps. It has a good tutorial for new TD game players, though it is a tad annoying if you are more familiar with the genre. Quick note: you do NOT have to place towers, factories, mines, concrete blocks and such where the tutorial arrows tell you to put them, you can place them where you like on the green sections of the playing grid. Factories are the exception, they have specific spots they can be placed in, and you need to be careful placing them in areas where you can fit more than one, to leave space for the next and maybe the one after. Being able to disable the tutorial is a feature I wish the game had, but it is a minor annoyance to me, at most.TL;DR- fun little Tower Defense game, with a nice futuristic setting, that is worth a play if you like TD games, and don't mind grinding a bit. Worth full price? Sure. The per hour cost is not high, and I can see it going down as I try to progress and work toward that 100%. Yes, it has Trading Cards, which have little market value (means a fairly cheap badge if you are lucky enough to not get duplicate drops). On sale, grab it if you like a more "casual" TD game.. Love this game 3 hours in an can see me playing 60+ more at least . well worth a fiver, graphics are awesome. Top notch Tower Defence game this. Lots of upgrades need to play em right tho :) . Good job to the people that made this happen!. Not a bad game per se. Graphically it's nice and it's very fluid but the rest...It's your typical tower defence game. You build, you kill. It starts already on hard and to lower you've to play it. This isn't bad, it's actually great, but you've to replay levels tons and tons of time to get enough currency to lower it. This doesn't bring the replay value to a higher position, it makes the game boring as hell since the game gives you the feel of a story being present since the first level and you want to know a bit more (it's simple but is there) but can't, the curve is high, you need to farm like a damn farmer. You've to go after your potatoes to smash them later and do mashed potatoes. In the end you simply say this after a while "Screw this, going to play something else" and you will do it.This probably isn't enough to kill the fun to a lot of people but... the game doesn't have ANY keyboard support. ANY AT ALL. When you have games in Kongregate made in flash and java from the same style and they support the space key to alternate between normal and fast forward that does magic in games like this... something seems wrong and incomplete.I also found this weird issue[i.imgur.com] in the map where you choose the level you want to play... This isn't a bug, it's lack of caring. You can't miss something like this, this is the options menu and it works in every other single place mid-game.Some of the translated languages also have a decent number of issues - poorly constructed phrases, typos. They're a bunch of them so I stopped caring about them but this will give you a very bad and poor experience.I wanted to enjoy this game because I like Tower Defence games and this game seemed good since it's still being updated here and there once in a while but in the end I ended disappointed because it looks a lot like a game made for smartphones with MTX in mind.. Pretty nice TD game with good atmospheric graphics and music, decent amount of maps (35) and enemies, and more or less balanced one. By "balanced" i mean, for example, it's one of the few games where enemy armor, means anything. There is tower/base/spells improvement system, which isn't bad either, throughout whole game you'll never have all improvements (unless you'll play tens of hours more than needed), so you'll have to put some thought into improving stuff. Now about bad part - game doesn't have any top scores, so there is not much point in trying your hardest on every map, but if you not planning on recompleting every map, it shouldn't matter. Next thing - amount of towers. There are only 8 of those, and 4 are possible improvements of 2 starting ones (altho each of 8 towers has an improvement tree). But let's be fair here, in many TD games even when you have 30 towers you can use same 2-3 to win everything anyway. So, in short - don't expect anything specifically great from this game, but it's nice TD to keep you in for 10-20h.. Basic Tower Defense game...mostly. Very challenging at times and super grindy just to advance. But its not a bad game. I actually had determination to finish the game and really tried to upgrade everything and get all achievements. and for me, that must mean something, because i do not ever do that for any game. But, i gave up right when i seen the finish line. Got all but 1 achievement and only need a few more towers to upgrade, but i just couldn't bear grinding anymore levels that i have completely mastered. The worse part of the game is that there is no endgame, no hidden levels, no special something something for the winner, ect. So after grinding every single level and trying to stock up on gems just to get some mediocer upgrade boosts, you just want to give up. I say this is good for the first 15 hours at most then it loses everything it had.But not all is lost, i still recommend this game to anyone who has interest ind Tower Defense Games. I think if the Devs take one more shot at a good Patch or update to fix some of the unbalance issues with monsters vs. upgrades, ect and adds some type of endgame, this would be a really good game. Maybe a sequel is in the works and they will pay a little attention to detail and fix these issues (small issues, but annoying after some time)Buy if on sale if you are unsure. Ok, I recommend this game with reservations. Good TD, but requires serious grinding (I recommend "Lone Way" level btw)Points to improve: - Needs rebalancing, upgrades cost more than the online version of the game and are too expensive- Coins should automatically be picked up, or at least calculate the ones left on the ground at the end of the level. When the coins are lost, upgrade points are lost. - Coins invested in factories should be automatically calculated and added to upgrade points at the end of the level (work around until then is to sell them off at the last level)
